Never Too Late
Flow child, as you did before,
when you climbed a tree,
kissed a boy,
danced your way into Never Never Land.
It’s never too late.
Breathe little one, as you have before,
when you first flew across the Alps,
cooked delicious food for your children,
played through the reed of your beloved clarinet
to the deer gathered around your notes.
It’s never too late.
Love precious one, deeper than you ever have before;
open to the mystery of your heart’s majesty.
Throw wide the doors to the citadel
as if there were no dragons.
You can
I know you can
Only pure peace will come
in the brilliance of this place.
It’s never too late.
