The innocent wanderings
of a spirit child
in an open field,
offering prayers to Kuan Yin
for compassion
to flood her heart ~

darting and dipping,
spiraling and soaring

Iridescent messengers
swooping around her
outstretched arms,
face lifted to the light
to embrace their faery wings
their fiery dances of joy.
