The Link Between Magnetic Fields and Consciousness

The link between Magnetic Fields and Consciousness Excerpt from the book:  “Infinite Mind – The Science of Human Vibrations” by Dr. Valerie Hunt “An experimental physicist, Bob Beck, believed that the mystical state of psychics and clairvoyants while they were at work somehow related to the brain waves. He developed sensitive instruments that he used to record the brain waves of proven mystics. When he processed this data, he found that their brain waves during their mystical work were 7.8 cycles per second, plus or minus 1/100th of a cycle. This particular frequency reminded him of the research about the Schumann resonance. Schumann, a German living in the early 1930’s, discovered a magnetic field that thrust upward from the earth...

Excerpt from the Book: Infinite Mind

“Infinite Mind – The Science of Human Vibrations” by Dr. Valerie Hunt This is one of my favourite books ever and I’d like to share a passage with you here about the power of Electromagnetic Fields on the Human Energy System: “We recorded the energy field of subjects in a Mu Room; a shielded room located in the Physics Department at UCLA. Using instruments inside the room, physicists could alter the quantities as well as the specific frequencies of the electromagnetic field.  Subjects gave a continuing audio report of their personal experiences in the room. A dancer performed simple balance and dance movements, as well as hands-on healing of a subject. The findings were amazing. When the electrical aspect of the atmosphere in the room...

The Power of Macrobiotics

»Posted on May 19, 2015 | 0 comments

The Power of Macrobiotics The power of embracing the macrobiotic way of life is really quite astounding. Born out of the Taoist view of seeing the life of nature through the lens of yin and yang, we are blessed with an amazingly graceful and poetic cosmology that may be utilized in every possible facet of life. That it embraces at its heart the axiom “all things change” makes it one of the most dynamic and versatile of systems that I have yet come across. And in this lies true freedom.   The ways that people come to the study of macrobiotics are as diverse as water and stone – yet at the basis of these apparently separate paths is one deep truth – the quest for understanding and the willingness to explore. Many people describe the most fascinating...

Miracles Do Happen!

»Posted on Apr 26, 2015 | 0 comments

Miracles Do Happen! It is a rainy Sunday afternoon, reminding me so much of my home in the soft, lush English countryside. And. of course, like a true Brit, I’m sitting here with the proverbial cuppa! (Just don’t tell any other Brit that it’s good old Irish Barry’s Gold that I’m sipping though … ) There’s nothing like a cup of tea to calm the nerves, warm your feet, and nourish the cockles of your heart all in the twinkling of an eye. And nourishment is well sought for today. For on Friday I had quite the day of day and night of nights. Let me explain … I woke excitedly before 6am to go to Mike Dooley’s “Playing the Matrix” workshop at the “I Can Do It” event in downtown Denver. On the way...

Life and Teaching of The Masters of the Far East

»Posted on May 19, 2014 | 1 comment

I am so loving reading the first volume (of six) of Life and Teaching of The Masters of the Far East!  It is the beginning of a journey that moves me every page I turn; rather like when I read Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramahansa Yogananda.  That was a life transforming book to say the least!  This one no less … Here is a wondrous quote that touched me so deeply today … ” … Our chief asked the lady what she considered the greatest attribute of God.  Without a moment’s hesitation she answered, “Love”.  Then she went on to say, “The Tree of Life is located in the midst of the paradise of God, the very depth of our own soul, and the rich, abundant fruit that grows and ripens to the fullest perfection, the most...
